CHARLOTTE — Mascia Development said Tuesday that it has bought the 44-unit Pines on Wendover apartment complex at 628 N. Wendover Road.
Mascia founder Mark Mascia said the Clementi family was the seller. New York-based Mascia said the purchase marks its first property acquisition in Charlotte. The company said it partnered with Thomas Real Estate Investments and Beauwright Development in the deal.
Pines on Wendover was built in the 1980s and is 100 percent occupied, Mascia said, adding that it plans to make cosmetic improvements to the complex’s interior and exterior.
Mascia said in a news release that Charlotte has become “a financial center second only to New York City and an energy hub for the country. This acquisition is the first of several we plan to make with our partners in the Charlotte market, as we continue to actively look for more opportunities in one of the fastest growing cities in the nation.”
